We are only pages away from the end of our current class novel
Wonder by R.J. Palacio. We have loved the story as told from different characters throughout. Themes of bullying, judging and friendship have been well received by all Room 1 readers. If you haven't read it, we highly recommend it. Hopefully there will be some blog post reviews next week.

ReplyDeleteI would like the class to read Dear Olly by Michel Morpurgo because the author is one of the best authors IN THE WORLD!! He writes great descriptive stories about dog, love, wars and basically anything else!

ReplyDeleteWe took your advise and are reading a dog called homeless, we are only up to the 3rd chapter. I am not going to tell you what happens because otherwise... that would be a spoiler. It is a very good book and we really like it.
